Nurse Practitioner Job Opening

Alabama Spine and Pain has been in practice for almost 6 years, in Florence, AL, specializing in advanced interventional pain management procedures for treatment of back and neck pain. We are not an opioid pill clinic.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team due to expansion and adding satellite location in the coming months. You will be working very closely with our physician.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
• Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance
• Develop and implement patient management plans
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Assist with skin closure and basic operating room procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a physician assistant or other medical fields
• Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be willing to travel 1-2 days per week at satellite location
• Looking for long term team player with some basic surgical experience
