• Wasilla, AlaskaThe Crisis Clinician provides psychiatric emergency crisis intervention, through telephone or face to face response to clients in crisis at Mat Su Health Services locations, Mat-Su Regional Hospital, or other community locations on a case by case basis as requested. Provides daytime walk-in interventions at Mat-Su Health Services' main campus and maintains a small clinical case load. Provides assertive follow-up to individuals served through our Psychiatric Emergency Services program crisis intervention process to increase engagement to ongoing service. This is a day shift position; however, the incumbent may periodically participate in additional on-call coverage which may include nights and/or weekends, as needed, with additional pay.
The position requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or a related field. License or license eligible status is preferred. Two years of experience working in a mental health setting is preferred.
$55,120 – 65,000/year + Depending on license and experience.
Candidates for the Crisis Clinician position must be able to pass a fingerprint based background check, have a current driver's license and clear driving history.
