Operations Specialist Job Opening

The Operations Support Specialist I is responsible for meticulously organizing and ensuring the integrity of incoming and outgoing documentation that supports all key department processes. This position will be responsible for collaborating with and supporting Revenue Operations functional teams.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Manager of Case Management and is based in Fairhope (Mobile), AL.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate incoming faxes and mail by uploading, tracking, and mapping files to patient records
• Assist with document flow management, including scanning and filing, in a timely manner
• Communicate with internal Revenue Operations teams to ensure files are available and processed in a timely manner
• Monitor incoming communications and coordinate with appropriate members of the Revenue Operations team
• Perform quality checks on uploaded records to ensure accuracy of information
• Assist with other projects and team priorities as needed
• Perform all other duties or priorities assigned by management as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• 0-2 years of experience in healthcare or in an administrative role
• Familiarity with basic medical and insurance terminology preferred
• Experience working with CRM and documentation management systems preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP preferred

• Proven ability to achieve goals in a timely manner exercising good judgment, creative problem solving, and sound decision-making skills
• Knowledge of HIPAA and other applicable regulations
• Exceptional organization skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
