The Life Change Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been providing recovery services for heroin and prescription medication abuse concerns since 1999. We offer a variety of services to help people to make the changes necessary to beat their drug addiction. The emphasis of our recovery program is based on two primary themes; empowerment and improving quality of life. We have a talented group of staff members with expertise in recovery from opioid addictions.
The Life Change Center (TLCC) is seeking a full-time (preferred) or part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Supervisor preferred). TLCC seeks a qualified and passionate dual diagnosis clinician to provide integrated mental health services to our clients. This position will be a key role in the development of TLCC as an Integrated Opioid Treatment Recovery Center (IOTRC). We would also like for this position to assist in the process of establishing TLCC as an approved clinical internship site by the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers.
Essential Job Functions:
- Work with the Mobile Opioid Recovery Engagement (MORE) team, the executive leadership team, and the clinical workforce to ensure compliance with IOTRC standards.
- Perform intake assessments using DSM5/ASAM PPC2R criteria to determine the appropriate level of care.
- Perform case management functions including “warm hand-off” referrals to other community resources for needed health, housing, employment, and mental health needs.
- Work in concert with patient and patient’s providers to coordinate care. Provide coaching to patient and patient’s providers to ensure effective care coordination.
- Provide counseling on substance abuse on his/her assigned patients on both an individual and group basis.
- Develop treatment plans and maintain files on his/her patients according to the standards of the profession.
- Assist in the development of workable titration schedules in consultation with patient and other medical staff.
- Perform mental health screenings on patients identified by TLCC clinical staff.
- Keep current on all training and certification/licensing requirements and provide appropriate documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement and quality assurance process.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master’s in Social Work (MSW)
- LCSW (Supervisor preferred)
- An excellent communicator, collaborator, and team facilitator
- At least 2 years of experience in addiction treatment
Compensation:

- Salary: $28 - $35/hr
- TLCC is part of the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment program. Thus, a candidate for this position may qualify for up to $75,000 to be paid towards student loans.
