CT Technologist Job Opening

Reports to CT Supervisor. Under general direction, is responsible for the acquisition of CT Scans of patients for diagnostic purposes and providing patient service, using applicable imaging modalities. A CT Technologist provides optimal patient care utilizing established accepted techniques. Will also perform X-Rays.

Performs CT Scans with and without contract within established guidelines in the clinic setting.
Provides care to patients during CT Scans.
Performs clinical activities required to assist the physician in a clinical setting.
Exercises appropriate measures to maintain high standards of patient care.
Assists with the discharge of patients.
Orders and maintains neat and orderly stock of supplies.
Complies with standards of JCAHO and other governing agencies.

Graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology School and/or an accredited training school in Ultrasound techniques.

Preparing for registry or certification by either ARDMS or ARRT.

Knowledge of CT equipment.

Must have BLS/CPR by the American Heart Association.
