Certified Surgical Tech Obstetrics Part-Time Nights Job Opening

We are looking to hire a NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technician/OB Tech in Nampa! This position will be located at our Nampa Medical Center located at 4300 E Flamingo Ave, Nampa, ID 83687

As a Saint Alphonsus Obstetrics Technician that is NBSTSA CST certified you can expect to provide setup and preparation of surgical procedures for physicians and surgical staff under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will also provide support and communicate directly with surgical teams and supervisory staff.

Our ideal candidate will be passionate about mothers and babies. This candidate will also function as a Unit Clerk and Certified Nursing Assistant at times to provide the exceptional patient care that Saint Alphonsus is recognized for.

General Requirements:

• Graduate of LPN or Surgical Technologist Program required.
• One year of scrub experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.
• LPN requires one year of scrub experience in acute care hospital in at least three primary specialties.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

License/Certification:

• NBSTSA Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.
