Physician Assistant Job Opening

We are looking for a nationally certified licensed physician assistant (PA), (part time or full time) who will provide specialty medical care in an inpatient and outpatient setting. He/she will perform complete histories and physicals on patients to establish and record patient's current medical status and to develop a working diagnosis and treatment plan to provide continuing medical care, including daily examinations, writing orders, chart notes, discharging patients and completing discharge summaries in electronic medical record. Must have the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.

Education and Experience

• Current PA license through the Ohio State Medical Board through the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant through the NCCPA (or successor).
• Must have Prescriptive authority or eligible to apply for licensure to prescribe from the Ohio State Medical Board within the first 6 months of hiring.
• Must have a Physician Supervision Agreement (listed on Ohio State Medical Board website) and/or signed addendum to Physician Supervision Agreement.

• Two years clinical experience preferred.
• Will consider new graduates

The PA will work as an independent contractor and will be paid $ 50.00- $60.00/hr. (depending on experience). He/she will be supervised by a practicing licensed physician. The PA will perform medical services that have been specifically authorized & directed by the supervising physician.
