Behavioral Health Counselor - Mount Vernon/Anamosa Job Opening

Heart and Solutions is currently looking to hire full time In-Home Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS) providers in Mount Vernon/Anamosa, IA and surrounding areas!

Requirements for this position include:

- Valid driver's license and car insurance

- Either computer, laptop or tablet and home internet access

- Hold a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services related field with six months of Human Service experience, or a Bachelor's degree in another field with two years of Human Service experience

- Ability to work evening/after school hours

Job responsibilities include:

- Provide behavioral health skills to children, ages 4-19 and their families in their home, based on goals that the family sets

- Document progress notes and contact with clients between sessions, on our secure website

- Represent the agency at community events and networking opportunities

- Collaborate with community members to serve clients

- Follow up with referral sources

- Build and maintain a caseload of 19 hours, weekly (Full time benefits available, once able to maintain 19 hours a week)

- Attend monthly team and BHIS meetings

- Meet with clinical supervisor quarterly to discuss cases.

Salary: $27.35 /hour
