Performs routine and moderate to complex tests and analyses according to established procedures in designated technical department. Evaluates new procedures or methods under direct supervision of department supervisor or group leader. Assists in training and orientation of personnel as assigned.
Requirements
License/Certification/Education:
- This position requires a Medical Technologist Degree or equivalent
- Active CA CLS Generalist License
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a Clinical Laboratory
- Must meet CLIA requirements.
Must have experience in hematology including automation and microscopic evaluations of blood cells.
