Adult Education Intake Specialist - SSC Job Opening

$9.50 per hour. This is a grant-funded position contingent on future funding and is not eligible for fringe benefits.

This position is responsible for greeting, registering and providing assessments to students, and assisting instructors in the Adult Education program. Works approximately 28 hours per week, Monday-Thursday, 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.

Requires knowledge of computers and the ability to learn and operate computer based learning programs.

Requires strong communication skills, organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to multi-task. Knowledge of local resources, ability to work with non-traditional and culturally diverse learners, and ability to guide students in career or college pathway also required.
