Dental Assistant Job Opening

Work alongside General Dentists AND Specialists, including our Pediatric Dentists, Oral Surgeon, Endodontist, Periodontist, Orthodontists and Hygienists.

At Hawaii Family Dental, our dental assistants:

- Work with the dentist, take x-rays, and assist with documentation to improve the smiles of every patient
- Educate and support patients by showing them how to brush and floss the best way, and provide special instructions to those who need a little extra help
- Ensure that every patient crosses their T’s and dots their I’s by reviewing their health history, forms, and signatures at every visit
- Keep germs at bay by sterilizing and maintaining all equipment
- Be compassionate and caring while you ensure that patients know what to expect with each visit

In our search for the BEST fit, Hawaii Family Dental is looking for candidates who possess a combination of the following education, experience and/or abilities:

- At least one year of experience as a dental assistant preferred
- High school graduate or GED
- You know your way around a computer
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to think on your feet and make smart decisions in stressful situations
- At least one year of experience in a customer service-oriented position
