Seeking an enthusiastic and positive full-time Patient Coordinator/Dental Receptionist to
join our private dental practice.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of dental reception experience.
- Outgoing personality and excellent communication skills.
- Excellent self-presentation skills.
- Exceptional telephone skills.
- Customer centric oriented.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Proficiency in Dentrix a plus.
- Clean, professional appearance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule patient appointments to meet daily and weekly practice goals.
- Handle patient finances.
- Maintains patient records.
- Coordinates patient flow.
- Correspond with insurance companies.
- Directly contribute to the success and profitability of the office through account follow-up, appointment scheduling, accounts collections and outstanding patient service.
- Coordinate intra-office and inter-office schedules and appointments.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets all patients and visitors in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
- Manages inbound phone inquiries and routes calls accordingly
- Schedules and confirms patient appointments
- Manages schedules for the doctors at the practice
- Maintains patient charts
- Helps with patient billing and insurance
- Manages business records and marketing for the office
- Maintains a neat, clean office and reception area and ensures HIPPA Notice of Privacy Practice is properly displayed
- Provides administrative assistance as needed
- Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
- Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred
- Two years of relevant experience preferred
- Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
- Highly professional and dependable
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent telephone skills
- Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with dental practice management software a plus
