This position performs patient care by assessing patient physical and functional abilities. Based on problems determined, the physical therapist establishes and carries out a plan of care to include patient/family instruction, discharge planning, documentation on the medical record, and communication with physicians and other medical staff. This position helps patients achieve maximum level of physical functioning. Acts as clinical instructor for students and actively participates in department functions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Certification, Registration, LicenseAssociate's Degree
ATC - Certified Athletic Trainer
OT - OT
PT - Physicial Therapist License
ST - ST
CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Field of Study: Physical TherapyYears of Experience: 1
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE Licensed in the state of Ohio; CPR certification. Basic computer skills. Entry-level new graduate, if facility has at least one veteran Physical Therapist to mentor, otherwise, at least one year of clinical experience.
