CNA Job Opening

Description:

Providence is calling a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) (Nursing Administration, Night Shift, 0.9 FTE) to St. Patrick Hospital and Health Sciences Center in Missoula, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

• Act as an advocate for patients in maintaining choice, independence, privacy, dignity and security.
• Provide appropriate patient care as directed by the licensed nurse.
• Assist in providing care and implementing delegated activities of the nursing plan.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies: American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider), American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), or Military Training Network (MTN) – (Healthcare Provider) upon hire
• Successful completion of an orientation program or equivalent experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
