LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Job Opening

Busy Ophthalmology practice has an opening for a full time LPN to work in the clinic and also our own ambulatory surgery center.

Employee will be responsible for assisting provider with patient care, testing and data entry. Daily tasks include, but not limited to, initiating patient exams, measuring and recording visual stats, conducting diagnostic specialized testing, administrating dilating drops, performing intraocular pressure checks, recording patient's health history and assisting with minor procedures. Employee will also be trained to work in surgery which may consist of pre/post op, transporting and circulating.

Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented office and willingness to be cross-trained with multiple physicians is a must. Candidate must have excellent communication and accurate computer skills to become part of our team. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task.

Experience preferred; but will train the right candidate.
