Medical Receptionist Job Opening

DEPARTMENT: Patient Financial Services

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Medical Receptionist, under the supervision of the Medical Receptionist Manager (MRM) and Medical Receptionist Supervisor (MRS), is responsible for performing secretarial functions and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team to promote patient care. The Medical Receptionist will actively participate in a team-based approach to care and will facilitate commitment to the principles of the patient centered medical home model to further enhance health care access and quality of care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

• Completion of a medical terminology course preferred.
• Current BCLS certification preferred.
• One year medical experience in a physician’s office or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred; will train a highly-motivated individual.
