Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Injector Job Opening

We are currently seeking an outstanding, enthusiastic, licensed Nurse Practitionerfor a new sports performance clinic as an Injection Nurse and patient coordinator.

Expert phlebotomy and injection skills are a must.

Our ideal candidate is a natural leader, patient-centric and an exceptional injector.

Critical thinking, therapeutic communication and clinical decision-making skills are necessary to assess, plan, implement, educate and evaluate the patients’ health throughout their treatment therapy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Establishing a compassionate environment for patients.

Protecting patient confidentiality.

Maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Ensuring proper operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.

Maintaining clinic medical and stationary supply levels.

Sound judgment and significant operational and practice management expertise.

Competencies and Requirements:

Minimum 2 year Nursing Diploma

Bachelors of Science in Nursing is an asset
3 + years of critical care experience (i.e. ER, ICU) is an asset; recent acute care experience is required

Must have an active license and good standing as a Registered Nurse
Ability to work autonomously

Maintain CPR certification / ACLS certification

Ability to work at various clinics or alternate locations

Maintain yearly professional liability insurance

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with patients, colleagues and customers

Ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
