Job Description
First and foremost, you will be responsible for doing your part to help build and maintain a world-class addiction recovery facility.
The candidate best-suited for this position will be working with clients who are in early recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. We are searching for someone who is compassionate and aware of the energy and body language of others, someone who is friendly, dedicated and passionate about helping others. You will have the opportunity to perform more emotional release and gentle work rather than sports or high-performance muscle recovery work. Must be trained in Swedish, Reflexology, and chair massage. A knowledge of Craniosacral Therapy and the lymphatic system are a plus, but not required. You will be working 4-10 hours (clients) per week to start and could increase from there. Working days will be Sundays and Wednesdays. All equipment and supplies provided.
- Must be licensed in the state of Utah.
- Must be insured to work as an independent contractor.
- Must be willing to learn new massage therapy techniques.
- Must be available to work nights and/or weekends.
- Must be able to pass drug and background checks.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures.
- CONFIDENTIALITY is required at all times.
- Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every client.
- Attend company meetings and activities as requested.
- Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Acqua Recovery.
- Stay current on best practices in treatment center programs.
- May be asked to perform other duties as assigned, in alignment with your experience and scope of practice.
