Veterinary Technician Assistant Job Opening

Fast paced general practice in search of veterinary nurse assistant. Assistants play a key role in client communication and education, as well as communication between clients and doctors. Strong and loving patient care required.Assistants are expected to properly restrain, obtain blood and other specimen samples, read basic ear and urine cytology, run blood work on IDEXX lab machines and package samples to send to reference labs. We have 3 veterinarians, 5 receptionist and 10 veterinary technicians/assistants. We run appointments from 8 am to 8 pm, Monday through Friday, and 8 am to 2 pm on Saturday.

Surgeries (including spays, neuters, mass removal & laparotomy) and dentals are performed Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Emergencies are seen on occasion or directed to a nearby emergency & referral center as needed. We are recently remodeled with 4 exam rooms, a spacious front office/waiting room and dedicated surgical and dental suites.
