Part Time PRN Traveling Phlebotomist Job Opening

We are looking for members to add to our growing team of skillful phlebotomists. You would be responsible for conducting wellness screening blood draws on participants all over the state, and potentially across the nation. You would help your supervisors set up and tear down at the locations and make sure that everything is organized before, during, and after the draw. Rapid City SD, Jackson, Thermopolis. These are only 3 of the places you could visit while working for Wyoming Health Fairs. We are looking for an hourly as needed traveling phlebotomist with little to no travel stipulations. You would spend your time traveling around the state of Wyoming doing wellness screenings for corporate and community clients. We are constantly growing and would love to have you as a part of our team.

Wyoming Health Fairs strives to make a wake in each community by providing low cost wellness screenings for those who may otherwise not be able to afford the tests they need. We are a self-funded non-profit that has been around for over 35 years and we help around 50,000 participants each year.

While working as a traveling phlebotomist, not only will your phlebotomy skills grow but also your knowledge and appreciation of this great state we live in. You will work with a team to provide an amazing service to your fellow Wyomingites. The position is hourly as needed and pays $15 per hour which is in the 90th percentile for phlebotomy wages here in Wyoming. You will constantly be learning and growing, and we encourage your ideas. We are a company full of ideas, and that means yours! There is no idea too small or too great that we won’t try to make happen. Although the hours aren’t set, there is always the potential to move up within the company.

Wyoming Health Fairs is searching for qualified applicants for our traveling phlebotomist positions. Some of the qualifications include:

• Previous experience with the vacutainer system is preferred
• Recent graduate of a phlebotomy program must have a minimum of 100+ sticks
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required
• Valid Driver’s license
• Must be willing to travel, including on “wintery” roads with little to no travel stipulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to address concerns in a professional manner
• Ensures all specimens are collected accurately according to established procedures
• Provides excellent customer service to our participants
• Ability to have flexibility with travel requirements
• Ability to have flexibility with number of hours offered
• Works well with supervisors and co-workers
