Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Opening

Willowbend at Marion, Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a person centered, long term care facility, is now hiring full time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for all shifts, 7a to 3p, 3p to 11p, and 11p to 7a. We also have a opening for a weekend special LPN. Shift Differentials for our 3p to 11p and 11p to 7a shifts! Offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a fun team environment!

We are actively seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our facility's compassionate caregiving team! Our LPN's interact directly with our residents, providing top notch person centered care.

Responsibilities:

Assigns Nursing Assistants and other designated personnel assuring each resident’s needs will be met during the assigned shift.

• Gives report to Nursing Assistants.
• Makes rounds of the assigned unit frequently during the shift providing intervention as needed. During the entire shift, will be attune to needs of the unit while doing other nursing tasks.
• Prepares and administers medications as ordered. Reorders medications as needed in preparation for future shifts. Assesses and documents medication issues as per policy.
• Provides special procedures as ordered.
• Receives report from the off going shift.
• Reviews communication systems to be knowledgeable of any unusual occurrences during the previous shifts.
• Assigns Nursing Assistants and other designated personnel assuring each resident’s needs will be met during the assigned shift.
• Makes rounds of the assigned unit frequently during the shift providing intervention as needed. During the entire shift, will be attune to needs of the unit while doing other nursing tasks.

Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN program.

Salary: $19.50 to $23.00 /hour
