Assistant Director of Wellness and Healthcare Coordination Job Opening

Due to office expansion, the Franciscan Friars Conventual are seeking an Assistant Director of Wellness and Healthcare Coordination (FT). The position consists of administrative tasks associated with the Office of Healthcare Ministry; supervision of its staff; and travel and visits to assisted living and skilled care facilities where Friars are in residence.

The successful candidate should be well-versed in all aspects of navigating the healthcare system including insurance, social benefits, HIPAA, as well as pastoral ministry. The position requires the ability to work well with all ages and possess an affinity for working with elders. Flexibility, the ability to multi-task and prioritize, efficiently and with attention to detail are critical.

A practicing Catholic in good standing, Bachelors Degree in Social Work, 3 years’ experience in working with elders in a healthcare environment, and a working knowledge of insurance associated with the healthcare industry are required. A combination of education and experience will be considered. Experience in pastoral care is preferred. Travel is a regular and expected aspect of this position.
