Position Summary The Medical Assistant functions as an assistant to the physician in providing medical and health maintenance services to patients in a clinical setting, in accordance with all regulatory requirements. Performs clerical duties as assigned or directed. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) High School Diploma or Equivalent Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program Certification required (AAMA or NCCT) Must maintain valid basic CPR certification; BCLS if required by specific departments Excellent written and verbal communication Proficient in basic computer skills
