Monday - Friday 245pm - 1115 pm

7am - 7pm every other weekend

Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current registration license with the state Board of Nursing
  • Minimum of 1 year of long term or geriatric care experience
  • Knowledge of RAI (Resident Assessment Instrument) and the Care Plan Process
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team
  • Ability to follow the appropriate safety precautions
  • Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of management and employees
  • Maintain current CPR certification
  • Ability to stay focused, professional and calm under pressure
  • Reliable and dependable with good references
  • Pass a drug screen and background check

Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN

  • Work under the direction of Physicians & RN's.
  • Provide care & treatment in accordance with Physician orders.
  • Ensure the health, comfort and safety of patients according to facility guidelines.
  • Comply with all state requirements and facility policies and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as needed.
