Dental Assistant Job Opening

Meng Dentistry, the prosthodontic office of Drs. Joe and Graham Meng is seeking a Full time Dental Assistant for a maternity leave. This position has the potential of turning into a part time (2) days per week- TBD. Availability includes working hours 7am-6pm, Mon-Fri. Starting pay of $15, but negotiable depending on experience, with ability to quickly advance based on performance.

The office is fast paced, rapidly growing, and utilizes state-of-the-art technologies.

As we are looking for a quick transition into this position, previous experience in dental assisting is required.

Job roles for the dental assistant include: greet patients, set up and tear down the treatment rooms, sterilize instruments and equipment, and assisting the dentist chairside. This position will also include performing infection control procedures, taking patient x-rays and impressions, fabrication of temporary crowns and sedation monitoring and completing chart notes. Comfort and ability to learn high technical dental and surgical procedures a must.

Desired Qualifications and Attributes:

• 1-2 years previous experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Current Radiology Certification.
