A Respiratory Therapist is a NBRC credentialed professional who provides respiratory care to residents in accordance to Desoto Healthcare Center’s policies and procedures. Respiratory care will be preventative, rehabilitative and palliative in nature.
Desoto Healthcare Center is a 120-bed Skilled Nursing Facility. Come be a part of our dedicated staff and make a positive difference in our resident’s lives.
Shifts Available:
7am-7pm Rotating Shifts
Minimum Requirements:
Desoto Healthcare Center offers a comprehensive benefit package including voluntary programs to full time staff. Benefits are available after 60 days of employment.

Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved AMA school of Respiratory Therapy.
- Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Ability to read/write in a legible and understandable manner.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long term care facility or other healthcare related facility.
- Knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures. and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long term care.
- Positive attitude toward the elderly.
