Veterinary Technician Job Opening

We are growing!! Our AAHA accredited, busy, multi doctor, small animal hospital is expanding, and we are looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our practice. We are looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician or an experienced Veterinary Technician that is proficient in veterinary technician duties and who can assist our doctors, other CVTs and assistants to provide exceptional patient care.

Our ideal Veterinary Technician candidate must be able to provide outstanding customer service via excellent communication skills, have a professional, positive attitude, willing to learn, detail oriented with the ability to think clearly and multitask in a busy environment. The position requires the physically ability to lift 50 pounds and properly restrain all animals when necessary.

Our Veterinary Technicians are responsible for providing outstanding customers service for our clientele and patients, assisting the team with patient care, client services, maintaining the cleanliness of the hospital, and preforming technician duties (dental cleanings, blood draws, lab work, radiology, surgical assisting and monitoring anesthesia), comfortable with and willing to handle a wide range of animals including dogs, cats, pocket pets and exotics. Our Veterinary Technicians reach their fullest potential by incorporating Fear Free and Cat Friendly Practice guidelines.

Ideal candidate must be comfortable with veterinary software and possess knowledge in Word and Excel.

This position requires the ability to work evenings, rotating weekends and some holiday shifts.
