Prospective applicants should demonstrate expertise in neurorehabilitation or healthcare management, and have a strong background in pathophysiology and biomechanics. The Occupational Therapy Department resides in the newly constructed Sanford Coyote Sports Center with state of the art classroom and laboratory space and technology, including a driving simulator, Dynavision, an Activities of Daily Living Suite equipped with remote patient monitoring systems, and a teaching and learning lab. As members of the School of Health Sciences, Occupational Therapy faculty and students engage in interprofessional study and scholarly activity with colleagues from Addiction Studies, Basic Biomedical Sciences, Dental Hygiene, Health Sciences, Medical Laboratory Science, Medicine, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, Public Health, and Social Work.
