Occupational Therapist responsibilities include therapy screening, evaluations, daily treatment sessions and discharge/discharge programs. OT is also responsible for supervising the Occupational Therapy Assistants. Physical demands of the position require good physical and mental health status as the position requires walking/standing most of the day, transferring, and pushing residents and equipment. Daily documentation is done electronically via Optima Healthcare Solutions (formally Rehab Optima) with a minimum weekly productivity of 85%.

This position requires a degree in Occupational Therapy, certification from NBCOT, State License for the state in which services are being provided and CPR. Employee must be dependable and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the residents served.
