Surgical Assistant Needed
Dr. Grant Wiswell is looking for a career-oriented, FULL-time, long-term surgical assistant to join our VERY BUSY oral surgery practice. We offer compassionate and state of the art care, and we are actively looking for a motivated, dependable, charismatic, flexible, and hard working individual. Getting along well with others is an absolute must. While previous surgical experience is preferred, we are willing to train "the right" person for the job. Having a background in medical, dental, or allied health fields is strongly recommended (health sciences degree, Medical assisting, nursing, surgical technologist, dental assisting, etc.). Job details: as a surgical assistant you would participate in surgical procedures and sedations many times a day. You would work closely with Dr. Wiswell as well as other surgical assistants and the front desk team. Additionally in time you would become responsible for patient education, charting, and many other duties. We are currently hiring for a position (4 day work week, between M-F) with hours from 9:00a- closing (typically 7:00p). 40 hours a week is guaranteed, with weekly overtime likely.
