Key Job Functions:

TMS Coordination – Any and all administrative activities in and around the TMS operation including, but not limited to, scheduling, phone answering, liaison to Physician, pre and post treatment patient tracking, TMS marketing, web site updates, lunches and community marketing efforts, correspondence with referring physicians, and any other activities as directed by the Physician. Oversee the TMS Treater, who conducts the daily patient treatments.

Patient Case Management – TMS is covered by insurance to some degree, and coverage policies are changing rapidly. This position will involve insurance investigation and calls on behalf of, and as an advocate for, the patient. Activities include, but are not limited to, drafting/sending pre-determination/pre-authorization letters, calls to insurance to determine eligibility, deductible, co-pay, co-insurance, and drafting/sending appeals letters. Any calls, letters or correspondence as directed by the Physician or management are required as well.

Trained as Certified TMS Treatment Technician (back-up) – The Physician requires an assistant when calibrating TMS to the patient and a technician to oversee the treatments. Activities include, but are not limited to, TMS Devise operation, Computer charting and documenting, patient assessments delivery and charting, patient care and assistance during treatment, and any other activities as directed by the Physician. Your position will be in charge of overseeing the TMS Treater, in a type of managerial role, but will need this certification for yourself, so you can also perform the duties and understand the treatment better, as well as to help cover, in the case that our treater needs additional assistance.

We are currently seeking individuals with varied healthcare backgrounds to become our TMS team, more specifically individuals with physical/nutritional, behavioral, and medical backgrounds. The responsibilities of TMS Treater are focused around treating patients who live with Depression, Anxiety, and numerous mental illnesses utilizing TMS Therapy equipment and systems. That means making sure a patient is receiving accurate and therapeutic treatment, coordinating their schedule, communicating with their doctor(s) and management, and improving patient's lives directly. The patient’s success is a very rewarding experience to share with them and the team!

Our comprehensive training program is proven to produce candidates with no previous TMS Therapy experience to become fully knowledgeable and skilled in overseeing the treatment of our patients. Our training far surpasses the industry standard, as we involve group learning, lectures, hands on exercises, patient shadowing, and a final certification to make sure you have in your possession the tools and skills to help patients daily reach total remission.

TMS Therapy was FDA approved in 2008, and is the safest, most effective, most durable treatment available for Depression. Our patients sit comfortably during this noninvasive treatment with no required sedation, and patients can drive to and from with no impairment. A large majority of our patients enjoy coming to treatment not only for the results, but also for our personable and comprehensive care which is largely due to the Treatment Coordinators. This treatment is the biggest breakthrough in Mental Healthcare in decades.

The position requires a background in Healthcare, Mental Healthcare or a strong understanding of Depression or other mental illness. Candidates are required to have access to instant and reliable transportation, and no issue working within 6am-8pm (times may vary depending on shift and location, and based upon patients’ scheduling needs) Monday-Friday and possible pre-scheduled Saturdays. Full time is preferred, 40 hours a week. We need team members who can lead by servitude, that are professional, attention detailed, dedicated, willing to learn, and flexible. This is a high-end treatment, and our Treatment Coordinators have to match our quality of treatment.

Responsibilities for TMS Treater include;

  • Coordinating the patient's schedule and communication of this with TMS Coordinator and Doctors
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Demonstrate a high level of flexibility to meet patient needs
  • Effectively interact with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare workers
  • Perform treatments accurately and efficiently in compliance with clinical procedure
  • Operates and utilize TMS equipment, takes pertinent patient history and integrates all aspects of care for all age ranges of patients

Required experience:

  • Mental Health: 1 year
  • Healthcare/Patient Care: 1 year
