Veterinary Assistant or Technician (Experience Required) Job Opening

We would like to add Experienced and Enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant / Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate must have experience in a veterinary clinic setting and must be able to work with companion animals as well as large animals such as goats, horses, and cows. The responsibilities of the Veterinary Assistant / Technician here at Lee Veterinary Clinic include, but are not limited to the following activities:

• Patient history and vital collection
• Vaccine, fluid, injection preparation and administration
• Proper restraint for lab work and treatments
• Venipuncture and lab processing
• Anesthetic monitoring
• Dental scaling and polishing (if licensed)
• Surgical recovery of patients
• Triaging critical situations
• Setting up and performing radiographs
• Electronic charting and financial transactions
• Client communication and education
• Hygiene services
• Filling prescriptions
• Stocking and cleaning
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements: Must have experience. Must love creating WOW experiences for the client and making their pet feel one of a kind.
