Student Weekend Radiology Tech Job Opening

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Education: Must be a student going towards the completion of a recognized school of radiologic technology. Must have completed one year of school. Must plan on pursuinng certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon graduation and maintain this status while employed at White County Medical Center. Training and Experience: Prefer 1 year radiologic experience. Job Knowledge: Knowledge of radiographic examinations as well as the procedures that require the use of contrast agents. Have a knowledge of radiographic equipment operations and radiation safety. Must also be knowledgeable about patient transfers and positioning techniques. Coordinates and performs the diagnostic radiographic cases for all patients. Open, accurate and responsive communication, oral or written, on an individual basis or in groups. Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines. Demonstration of ethical and professional conduct. Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty and disaster work as required by workload and/or unforeseen circumstances. Must display a good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatrics through geriatrics.
