PRN Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner Iowa City Job Opening

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting for Family Medicine ARNP/PA Providers for Proteus Migrant Health Project (Proteus Inc.) for PRN work.

Practice Details:

• Serving Migrant and seasonal farmworkers across Iowa in mobile health clinics
• Travel to clinics at farmworker job sites, homes, and clinics held at Proteus offices (locations change year to year)
• Perform patient visits, conduct health histories and physicals, diagnose, determine course of action, order labs and tests, interpret results within scope of practice
• Bilingual: English and Spanish a plus
• New grads welcome to apply prior to graduation and certification
• 2 Supervising physicians for chart sign off for PA providers
• Would need commitment outside a full-time job to one evening a week or similar scheduling

We Offer:

• Hourly compensation $50/hour
• Mileage
• Overnight travel as needed
• Malpractice coverage
• This position is not full time, so doesn’t provide benefits
