Skilled Nursing Facility

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for:

• Meeting each patient's goals by providing quality care through assessing and interpreting evaluations
• Helping patient develop or regain physical or mental functioning
• Promoting maximum independence by selecting and constructing therapies according to the individual's capacity
• Evaluating results of occupational therapy by observing, noting, and evaluating the patient's progress
• Recommending and implementing adjustments and modifications, as needed
• Completing discharge planning by consulting with other healthcare workers
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Contributing to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)

• New Hampshire Occupational Therapist (OT) license

• Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist in a skilled nursing facility
• Experience working with an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
