Dermatology Medical Assistant Job Opening

• Setting up and preparing for, and assisting in surgical, medical and cosmetic procedures such as biopsies, excisions, Mohs surgery, cryotherapy, fillers, and lasers
• Administering topical anesthesia or superficial injections of lidocaine prior to cosmetic and medical procedures
• Performing and coordinating phototherapy & photodynamic therapy
• Patch testing & placement
• Suture removals, dressing changes, applying pressure bandages post-procedures
• Provides counseling with patients, as appropriate when visit completed by physician
• Answering phone calls from patients and assisting with biopsy result delivery
• Scribing in EHR via iPad or computer during patient visits

Experience in high volume physician offices preferred.
