Department Director - 9th Floor and 9 South - Full Time Job Opening

The Department Director is a professional associate who maintains the management function for one or more departments. The Medical/Surgical Department Director reports directly to the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer through the Chief Nursing Officer to the organization. The Medical/Surgical Department Director manages the day-to-day function of his/her department and maintains 24-hour accountability for its function, productivity and quality. The Medical/Surgical Department Director initiates and ensures the maintenance of performance improvement, departmental customer satisfaction and staff competency, physician and staff satisfaction.
