Private Duty Nursing.

Qualifications
Must be an active licensed nurse with a LPN or RN
Must respect clients including ethics and the confidentiality of care
A certificate of where you graduated nursing school from
Be free from health problems that may that be injurious to the client or other employees
Meet standard for training hours on a yearly basis
Be experienced in the areas of skilled care (feeding tube, changing bandages of blisters and bed sores, ventilators and traches, etc.)
Duties of Position
To perform skilled services for clients while adhering to the care plan
Maintain Supervisory visits as needed on clients
Sign off on the needed paperwork
Company Information
Has access to client information and must abide by the confidentiality policy
Job Conditions
Have the ability to drive to each of the client’s homes
Must be able to communicate clearly rather it being verbally or written
Organization skills to perform and communicate the care plans
Position Responsibilities
Attends in- service as required by regulation
Follows the plan of care to provide safe and competent care to the client
Sign papers as needed (time sheets, initial start-ups and supervisory visits)
Travel from home to home performing skilled care, initial start-ups or supervisory visits
You will be expected to perform any services that medical that adhere to the care plan
