Job Description:
Administer medications in an accurate and timely manner to residents in accordance with physician’s orders. Provide emergency care to residents when necessary. Requisition adequate medications and supplies to administer medications in a timely manner. Supervise other employees and caring for residents. Monitor and document effectiveness of treatment and medication. Maintain a courteous, and professional appearance at all times. Follow facility policy and procedures as outlined in Employee Handbook.
Educational Requirements:
Professional, friendly, dependable and punctual individuals with a current LPN license. Candidates for this position will possess knowledge of computer documentation as well as writing documentation skills. Administer medication and treatments to resident as order by a physician or qualified practitioner. Supervise CNA in caring for residents. Complete and document comprehensive assessments of residents needs as related to medication administration. Follow a comprehensive plan of care for individual residents.
