Provides patient care, clerical and environmental control services in a clinical or hospital practice according to established policies and procedures. Utilizes information to continuously improve patient care and practice to enhance outcomes. Communicates/collaborates with physicians and staff to provide coordinated, safe and compassionate care for patients. Participates in continuing education activities that enhance employee's professional abilities and ensure up-to-date patient care.
Requirements
Experience: 6 months to 1 year experience in a medical group practice or similar situation.
Education: High School or Equivalent and Graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants.
Special Skills: Medical terminology, proficient in english, verbal and written communication skills.
