Adult Day Care Director Job Opening

Golden Villa Center, Inc. (GVC) is dedicated to serving our community, providing adult daycare services, while cultivating lasting relationships with our clients and their families.

ROLE SUMMARY

GVC is a well-established community-based adult day care experiencing quick growth that seeks a dynamic, highly motivated, organized and creative professional for the position of Director. This position will lead all aspects of the agency including:

• Budget creation and adherence
• Grant management
• Supervision of staff and clients
• Program and policy development
• Provide leadership for agency programs
• Establish and monitor collaborative relationships with other medical and human service agencies
• Promote and maintain patients' health by completing the nursing process
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary (OT, PT, etc) team members
• Oversee the provision of physical and psychological support to clients, friends, and families
• Adhere to Oklahoma Department of Health regulations
• Adhere to the Administrators Code of Ethics.

Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 3 – 5 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, adult day or other clinical setting.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in health, social services, healthcare management or related field is preferred, but 2 years of experience negates need for degree.
• Able to successfully pass a background check
• Current Oklahoma adult day care or long-term care administrator license
• Have ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification, TB Testing; Food Handler's Permit within 30 days of hire

Required Skills:

• Experience in mental health, geriatrics, and/or developmental disabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and patient billing database programs

BENEFITS AND PAY
