Live-in South Burlington Job Opening

We will hire one full-time employee (averages 3 and one half days per week) in South Burlington immediately. These are live-in shifts with a female patient who is wheelchair bound due to Multiple Sclerosis. You need to have experience with a Hoyer lift which she uses to get onto a commode.

A live-in position requires you to stay with the patient, in their home for 36 to 48 hours. You sleep at the client's house for 8 hours per day, with 5 uninterrupted hours Each shift averages 3.5 days with 3 days one week and 4 days the next from Saturday evening to Tuesday or Wednesday evening. This is not an hourly shift and cannot be split into hourly shifts. It would be better if you have live-in experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

Hoyer lift experience is necessary. Experience with Multiple Sclerosis or any degenerative syndrome would be helpful experience with a wheelchair bound client necessary.
