Currently we are looking to fill the vital role of Laboratory Director.
This position is responsible for providing management and oversight of daily laboratory activities in hospital laboratory. The laboratory director is the key bridge between laboratory operations and clinical practice. He/she will work in partnership with the Ancillary Services leadership and other facility management and departments to ensure the provision of optimal patient care.
Three years previous experience in clinical laboratory of an acute care hospital preferred. Must have experience with regulatory and accreditation of laboratory operations preferably with CLIA and CAP.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry and Licensed as Medical Technologist by American Society of Clinical Pathologists preferred.
