School-Based Clinician/Social Worker - CVSD Intensive Support Team (0.50 FTE)CVSD seeks a skilled and passionate School-Based Clinician/Social Worker to join the CVSD Intensive Support Team. The Intensive Support Team is a district-wide program serving students with significant social-emotional learning & behavior needs. The clinician would work alongside the Coordinating Special Educator on a team of highly skilled, caring individuals providing support and programming for individual and small groups of students with significant social-emotional learning and behavior needs (including students with severe emotional disabilities). Requirements of the role would include an ability to: Support students, staff and families in the Intensive Support program, including crisis management, program development and home-school coordination Support students and their families as they address challenges in order to experience healthy development and school success.Develop and implement treatment plans for students experiencing significant emotional/behavioral/environmental challenges Provide crisis prevention and interventionEducate team members regarding issues of mental healthIdeal candidates will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to build relationships and rapport with students and school teams.Masters degree in social work/counseling or other appropriate discipline and licensure (or ability to become licensed) as a school social worker is preferred.Please apply online to www.schoolspring.com
