Job Description

Exciting Full Time opportunity for experienced Clinical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in new Walk-In Clinic for non-emergent care at Clarke County Hospital, Osceola. This position assists the provider and other staff with obtaining vital information and prepares patient for examination, treatment and minor procedures with training and education. This position also documents treatment plans and may facilitate some lab procedures and radiology services for patients. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently, assuming responsibility for timely completion of assigned functions are key success factors. This position will be flexible with 8 hour and 12 hour shifts are available. They may assist with learn Primary Care and Specialty clinic. This position works weekends and holidays as a part of a holiday rotation in the Walk-In Clinic. Two years of experience are preferred. Graduation from an accredited one year Practical Nursing program and current Iowa license is required for LPN - Grade 19. CMA requires current Iowa certification – Grade 16.
