Desired Skills and Experience
The role of a Medical Team Administrator requires strong supervisory skills and flexibility in scheduling and coordination for the team as a whole. There will be after hours calls and unavoidable situations where you will provide coverage for your staff at times, but likewise you will have the flexibility to get the job done as a salaried team leader and still find downtime for yourself.
We are looking for a responsible licensed care giver to utilize their nursing supervisor skills for a diverse patient group. In a secure jail medical unit, you will deliver patient care, review data collection, establish nursing plans, supervise plan outcomes and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s).
Outside service referrals, following established treatment plans, and working with the Providers will be a key part of your position as well. Monitoring patient progress and working with the Providers will round out a quality health care program performed on-site – one you can be proud to be a part of.
