Location: US:WI:HARTFORD at our CP-HARTFORD HEALTH CENTER facility.

FTE: 0.437500

*1.0 FTE is Full-Time, any position less than 1.0 FTE is Part-Time, and .001 FTE is Optional Part-Time*

*Positions with an "FTE" (full time equivalency) of .875 - 1.0 are eligible for full-time medical, dental and vision benefits. Positions with an "FTE" of .5 - .874 are eligible for part-time pro-rated medical, dental and vision benefits*

Shift: Shift 1
Work schedule: This is a part-time position, with the hours being Monday 1pm-8pm, Tuesday 8am-2pm, and Thursday 1pm-5pm.
Responsibilities:
The Patient Access Service Rep (PASR), follows the Froedtert and the Medical College Performance Excellence Customer Service Standards. Greets and arrives patients. Verifies and updates demographic information. Collects monies for copays, supplies, and services rendered. Balances daily cash collections. Obtains patient signatures. Assists patients with ancillary appointment scheduling and forms. Schedules, cancels, and reschedules patient appointments. Answers and directs telephone calls. All other duties as assigned. (u-s)

Summary:
A minimum of two years of prior experience as a receptionist/assistant or related field is required. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Other information:
Effective communication skills, oral and written required. Ability to multi-task. Strong proactive organizational skills a must. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word. Knowledge of medical terminology and EpicCare is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
