Social Worker, MSW Job Opening

Position Summary:

Kershaw Health has an opportunity for a Clinical Social Worker (MSW) in our new Geriatric Psychiatry Unit. We specialize in elder care issues, including
behavioral and health needs, medication management, and conditions specific to those age 65 years and older including Alzheimer’s disease, depression, anxiety, as well as other mental illnesses or behavioral health concerns.

Responsibilities include managing an effective clinical service delivery system using applicable principles of Social Work, including patient psychosocial assessment, group and individual psychotherapy, family intervention, patient/family education and treatment planning responsibility.

This position is full-time, salaried. The schedule is generally Monday – Friday, however some evening and or weekend work may be required.

Job Requirements:

Masters Degree in Social Work field from an accredited college or university, with 2 years experience in mental health field. Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 3-4 years experience in mental health preferred.
