Position Summary: Provides administrative, managerial leadership and technical direction for the provision of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Services throughout Potomac Valley Hospital Campus. Also providing planning, organizing, and implementation of policies and procedures applicable to the daily operations of the Cardiopulmonary department. Monitors practices and performance of departmental personnel. Serves as an intermediary between hospital administration and departmental personnel for information dissemination and communication. Models the established performance expectations for Potomac Valley Hospital/WVU Medicine employees in the areas of people, service, performance improvement, and shared values and culture.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Associate’s degree.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Licensed by the West Virginia Board of Respiratory Care as a LRTR.
  • Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
  • Five (5) years’ previous managerial experience with Four (4) years critical care experience.
