Greenville & surrounding areasHome Care Aide Responsibilities:Provide routine individualized care to the elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilitiesMonitor and report changes in client health statusProvide personal care, such as bathing and dressingProvide home management, such as light housework, laundry, and preparing mealsProvide companionship and engage client in conversationSupervise for safetyAssist with grocery shopping and errandsProvide transportation and/or escort client to appointmentsAssist with standing, transfer, and ambulationQualifications and Requirements:Ability to speak English, read, and writeA high school diploma or GED18 years of age or aboveAt least one year's experience as a caregiver, home care aide, or CNAValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to work independentlyCompassionate, patient, and caring natureCapable of handling the demands of caregivingMust pass a drug test, TB test, SLED background check, mini health examMust have a clean driving record (3-year or 10-year)Participate in annual in-service training provided by the companyCurrent openings in the following counties of SC: GREENVILLE, GREER, and surrounding areas.
